We are pleased to unveil myrentcar 2.2, an update that incorporates improvements to myrentcar services with new methods making it easier to create, manage and update vehicles and reservations. We have also optimized customer and vehicle files by increasing the length of label fields and introducing practical visual indicators. Additionally, this update enriches document functionality and introduces advanced tools for short and long-term files. Each improvement aims to make your experience more intuitive, efficient and adapted to the evolving needs of the vehicle rental industry.

Developments

  • Myrentcarservices; Added new methods:
    • Vehicles: CreateVehicle method, allowing you to create a new vehicle
    • Documents; Reservations > GetDuplicates method, allowing you to retrieve a duplicate of a Short-Term invoice, using the ID of the initial reservation
    • Documents; Reservations > UpdateReservation method, used to update reservation information
    • Alerts; GetAlertesWS, CreateAlertesWS and UpdateAlertesWS methods allowing respectively to retrieve the list of positioned alerts, create a new alert, or update a vehicle alert
  • Customer, Vehicle, Company, Agencies Files; The length of fields containing labels (Last names, First names, Addresses, etc.) has been revised and increased to 200 characters
  • Customer files; Addition of a visual indicator to the customer's main file, presenting the customer's current balance
  • Documents; Addition to Short/Long Term Invoice and Expenses type documents of the possibility of selecting an invoice subject and email body from a predefined list in the back office
  • Short-Term Documents; Addition of a visual indicator when selecting a customer account, presenting the customer's current balance, as well as their authorized outstanding amount
  • Short Term Reservations Canceled; Added the ability to edit Comments and Ratings on canceled reservations
  • Vehicle Sheets; Addition of a non-blocking warning on serial number entries that do not comply with current standards
  • Vehicle Sheets; Addition in the history tab of the amounts excluding tax and including tax of the documents reported
  • Vehicle Sheets; Addition in the alerts tab of the possibility of carrying out an Excel extraction of the grid
  • Search lists; Added a setting to force a file to open in a new tab. This parameter is specific to each user and will be available via the toothed wheel on the search grid
  • Purchase vouchers; Added functionality allowing new purchase transaction lines to be inserted directly in the middle of already existing lines
  • Long-Term Files; Redesign of the Driver section, to display more information relating to the driver positioned on the document
  • Long-Term Files; Addition of 2 new menus allowing mass modification and mass duplication of long-term files
  • Historicization; Addition of reservation cancellation in historical operations
  • Re-invoicing from purchase vouchers; Addition of an association grid on customer files, management tab, between purchasing operations and the re-invoicing coefficient to apply
  • Middle Office; Addition of the “Accounting Models” menu
  • Middle Office; Addition to user profiles of a notion of default profile. If a default profile is defined, it will be assigned to new users created
  • Password policy; The number of authorized login attempts will now be reset to 0 after a successful login

Fixes

  • Short Term Options; “Contract duration in price terminals” option corrected, the check will now be carried out correctly when saving the document
  • Credalis; Correction made to the balance sheet which presented inconsistent values, when several vehicles were present
  • Billing of Fees; Correction made in multi-company on an inconsistent error message in invoicing
  • Customer files; Correction made to the Warranty tab. The link between a guarantee and an LT invoice can now be consulted without errors
  • Customer files; Correction made to the Sales tab, in the case of invoices with replacement vehicles. The information for each vehicle present on the invoice is now correctly retrieved
  • Middle Office; Global corrections made to the screens:
