Myrentcar 2.3 patch note

Discover the new features and fixes of the myrentcar 2.3 update.

Version 2.3 of myrentcar, our vehicle rental ERP, includes several improvements and new features, including optimized search tools in accounting, management of active/inactive drivers and even better visibility of licenses and user sessions. These new features aim to improve your experience and optimize the management of your rentals.

Developments

  • Myrentcarservices; Added methods:
    •  Agencies:
      • POST for the creation of new agencies
      • PUT for modifying existing agencies
  • Tracking of duplicates by email; Added the possibility of choosing an accompanying email template for sending mass emails
  • Entering LT Mileages; Added the possibility of importing a CSV file to update the mileage of LT folders in bulk (file format to be recovered from the export of the concerned grid, then to re-import to apply the modifications)
  • ST credit note Tracking; Addition of a monitoring menu for the Short Term credit note section

  • Damages; Addition of a disaster schedule to manage cases of multiple damages on the same day of activity (Standard screen required)
  • Accounting, Research of entries; Addition of search menus in accounts, journals and accounting movements so that the search for accounting entries is much more efficient
  • Accounting, Accounting Movements; Addition to the accounting movements form of information showing the export status of the movement (if an accounting export is configured on your application)
  • Drivers; Added an active/inactive concept to drivers. Inactive drivers will no longer be visible on customer files, nor offered on commercial documents by default. A check mark will allow them to be displayed if necessary.
  • VAT number ; Update of the control logic applied to VAT numbers
  • Vehicle Files; Addition in the Purchases tab of the operation code for purchase operations
  • Emails; Added support for special characters
  • ST Quote; Added a popup confirming the agency of origin of the document being created, if the user's connection agency is different from the agency of origin of the initial document
  • Default accounts; Blocking possible deletion of default accounts
  • Administration; Display in the “About” menu of the number of vehicle licenses consumed compared to the authorized total, as well as the number of active user sessions compared to the authorized total

Fixes

  • Kilometer gaps; Taking into account closed loan contracts in the state of kilometer gaps
  • Vehicle/Customer Files; Addition of the Processing Date and User columns to the PV tabs of the Customer and Vehicle files
  • Historicization; Addition in historical operations of modification of reservations from the schedule (drag & drop)
  • Customer Files; Added control over unwanted characters (spaces/tabs) when saving an IBAN. The IBAN data will be automatically formatted correctly and checked when saving
  • Backoffice; Blocking access to the backoffice which was permitted in certain cases, for users who do not have the rights
