Find out how to manage your movement list in myrentcar.
Myrentcar offers the possibility of managing short-term movements in order to immobilize a vehicle for maintenance or transfer.
The purpose of this documentation is to explain the basic management of a movement: creation, consultation, closure, etc.
As elsewhere in myrentcar, the movement list provides a quick overview of all the agency's movements.
This list is managed in the same way as other short-term documents (quotes, reservations, contracts, invoices), and documentation for these modules is available on request from Technical Support.
The only differences are the points set out below.
When accessing this screen, the table appears empty by default, with the message "No data to display". To display movements, it is necessary to perform a search.
Search all movements
To display a list of all movements, simply click on .
Search for one or more movements using a criterion
The search can be narrowed down by entering a criterion in the field provided and then clicking on the button.
This search targets the terms contained in the search field and displays results if that term appears, regardless of the term's place in the data.
If there is only one search result, myrentcar will open the corresponding movement directly.
It is possible to filter the list of movements according to a particular criterion, such as vehicle registration, for example.
When searching on 1 or 2 letters or numbers, the results containing this criterion may be numerous. This may not be precise enough, in which case the search needs to be better defined, or the movement needs to be found on another results page.
Search by movement type
You can also search for movements by type. These types correspond to the status of each movement.
To do this, use the corresponding box and tick the required type.
"All": Tick to search for all movements.
"On-going": Tick to search for open movements, whose actual return has not been entered.
"Closed": Check to search for closed movements, i.e. movements for which the actual return information has been entered.
Display all movement search results
You don't need to load to see the whole list, just use your mouse to scroll down to see the rest of the list.
Sort movement list
As elsewhere in myrentcar, you can change the way the list is displayed by sorting the table by column. To do this, once the column has been selected, click on its header to sort upwards, and click again on the header to sort downwards. An arrow will show the sorting applied.
Export movement list
Once the table has been formatted, you can export the list of movements as a spreadsheet by clicking on the button.
Create a new movement
Myrentcar offers several ways of creating a short-duration movement:
- From the schedule (see corresponding documentation).
- From the present list, by clicking on the
button.
