Find out how to renew a short term contract to become a medium term rental (MTR) in myrentcar.
The MT contract is the renewal of a ST contract. The short-term contract lasts approximately 30 days. Once this period has elapsed and the vehicle has not been returned to the agency, the contract must be renewed. The myrentcar car rental management software offers two renewal methods:
- Renew directly on the contract
- Renewal in the contract menu
In this first method, we'll renew a contract directly on its file. To do this, we enter the ST Contracts menu.
Click on the 
button to display the list of contracts and select the contract you wish to renew. You can also enter the contract number directly in the 'Search' field.
After selecting the contract, the following window will appear.
Once you've done this, complete the Return section in the 
tab, click on the 
button in the bottom 
menu bar, and the check mark will be active 
, as in the "Total contract" tab.
A confirmation message is then displayed.
Then click on 
to confirm.
Notification appears that your renewal has been saved, and the invoice preview appears.
Click on the 
button to continue and the PDF format of the invoice will appear in another tab.
When this is done, the 
button appears in the bottom left-hand corner. Click on it if you wish to renew or view the next contract
You can now check the schedule. The purple bars show contracts renewed or contract®. For more information, just click on them.
